Recently, I travelled to Gatsibo district and went up to Gitoki sector.

I was amazed by Mr Apollo Rutagarama’s model farms, especially his  modern methods of farming, including banana and pineapple plantations. The farm proves that he is not only successful but he is also offering employment to the members of the community We have model farmers who have contributed to other people’s welfare.

Such hard working and good hearted people should always be recognised as it encourages them to work harder and inspires others.

I hope the media can keep giving us more of such stories.
