Sean Kingston to perform in Kigali this Saturday

JAMAICAN-American singer Sean Kingston will perform in a live concert in Kigali, Rwanda on Saturday, September 17, at Amahoro Stadium. The concert, dubbed ‘Primus Guma Guma Superstar final concert ’ will be the first performance by of the 21-year-old since he was released from Jackson Memorial Hospital following a Jet-ski accident on May 30.

JAMAICAN-American singer Sean Kingston will perform in a live concert in Kigali, Rwanda on Saturday, September 17, at Amahoro Stadium.

The concert, dubbed ‘Primus Guma Guma Superstar final concert ’ will be the first performance by of the 21-year-old since he was released from Jackson Memorial Hospital following a Jet-ski accident on May 30.

The winner of Primus Guma Guma Superstar 2011, Tom Close as well as all Primus Guma Guma Superstar contestants will also perform. The concert will start at 4 p.m.

Tickets are now available from the following locations: UTC at Horizon Garden Restaurant, Chez Venant, Nyabugogo taxi and bus Park, Smart Wear in Kimironko and Kicementi at Karifuru, at Rwf1, 000 for general, and Rwf5, 000 for VIP.

"I am so excited about the concert and I can’t wait to attend. I really love Sean Kingston and I have always wished to attend his live concert. I am now head over heels!” David Ngoga, a student at Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) said.

Meanwhile, the concert which was initially set for July 30, 2011 was postponed as a result of the singer’s accident. The ‘Beautiful Girls’ star is also expected to perform in Kampala, Uganda on September 16.

In related news, Tom Close’s trip to United States of America has been confirmed. He will travel to Los Angeles, where he will meet Sean Kingston and record the highly-anticipated collaboration single and its video.

Initially, Close was meant to travel before the concert but is now finally in possession of all necessary documents.
