During my early primary school days, I loved to carry sweets and biscuits to school. Every time, my dad saw me with sweets, he would threaten to confiscate them.

I habitually kept on eating sweets and hid them from my dad since I knew he didn’t like me eating them.

I would never bother to brush my teeth after eating sweets because I was always rushing to play with my friends.

After a while, my teeth started hurting so bad and I became a regular at the dentist’s. I went through the pain of removing and cementing almost all my teeth. I started hating the dentist and wished I had listened to my dad’s advice.

Often times, children say their parents are mean when they refuse them to eat sweets, chocolate and candy.

However, parents always stop children from eating sweets because they bring cavities and that is why it is advisable to eat less of them.

If you love sweets so much, then remember to brush your teeth immediately after eating them.

Over consumption of sweets, candy and chocolate without brushing afterwards might make you lose your teeth and be a daily visitor at the Dentist’s which isn’t fun at all.
