Kamanzi hands over infrastructure ministry

Ambassador Stanislas Kamanzi has handed over the infrastructure ministry to Eng. Linda Bihire. The move follows a resent cabinet reshuffle which saw Kamanzi moved to the natural resources ministry.

Ambassador Stanislas Kamanzi has handed over the infrastructure ministry to Eng. Linda Bihire. The move follows a resent cabinet reshuffle which saw Kamanzi moved to the natural resources ministry.

During the handover ceremony at the ministry of infrastructure headquarters in Kacyiru recently, Ambassador Kamanzi asked his successor to continue from where he had left.

Present

Eng. Albert Butare, the state minister for energy, Vincent Gatwabuyenge, Secretary General of the ministry, and heads of department attended the function.

Three copies of a document—organisational structure of the ministry were signed by the senior ministers, Eng. Butare, state minister for infrastructure and Gatwabuyenge, the secretary general of the ministry.

Minister Bihire expressed gratitude to the infrastructure ministry team for their contribution to the ministry and to the nation at large. She urged them not to relax saying there was more to be done.

"Please let’s focus on what is important by meeting our expectations that way we will build a nation that we’re all proud of," she said.
