Letting go and moving on

Have you heard of people who have attempted to commit suicide just because of a broken relationship? Many times we get so attached to a particular person that when the relationship ends, one feels so depressed and broken to go on with life normally.  We drown ourselves in self pity and blame ourselves for whatever went wrong. In such a state, we forget that before we met this particular person, life was smooth and that it can get back to normal after they are gone.

Learn to let go and get a life.

We hang onto the past and have false expectations of a situation ever getting better. Instead of letting go and focusing on important things life has to offer, we choose to stay down. We fail to notice that in every loss, new opportunities come up. We set our eyes on a closed door instead of the several other open windows of opportunity.

Most times we don’t realize that we are on earth as independent individuals: So why let another individual’s behavior determine the quality of our welfare? And besides we have to appreciate the fact that people we entrust our hearts with are human beings with weaknesses. So disappointments such as heart break should never come as a surprise.

Sometimes times it’s not our fault that a relationship ends. So why drown oneself in self pity and anger? The same fortune that brought us a previous partner would definitely bring us even a better one.

There are many reasons to live for; there are thousands of responsibilities awaiting us to fulfill. People should never give up on life just because of a mere separation with somebody. Instead, just know you were not meant to be together and carry on with life. Remaining in the state of devastation is not an option. Live life to its fullest.
