Spaxx is one of the experienced Reggae musicians in Rwanda? He is the lead vocalist of legendary group, Family Squad. Spaxx, sometimes called "The Don Googon” started his music career in around 2003.

He later made solo releases like Daniella, which had became famous for its good video. For the record, the love song appeared on continental TV stations like Channel O and MTV.

The 30-year-old has since released over ten singles, some featuring regional artists like Kid Fox and AY.

He has since gone silent, with the now dormant Family Squad that no longer records new music, since their 2009 single release, "Uracyarimuto”.

The singer largely blames local radio presenters for his fall, saying that they focus on promoting new artists and ignore the veterans.

"Today you can’t hear a track like Daniella playing on local radio, yet all over the world, they still play Micheal Jackson, Maxi Priest, Destiny’s Child.... Presenters here go for new artists only,” he complained.

He is currently in Dar es Salaam, where he joined his group mate Nasir, to promote their music to East Africa.

Spaxx also plans to release his solo album by the end of 2011. It will be titled "Roll it”, named his song with Kid Fox.
