After much patience, Adolf Bagabo, a.k.a Kamichi has risen from the poor state of an underground ragga maffin wanna-be, to one of the best in afro-fusion in Rwanda music.

At 29 years, his latest singles like "Ngwino Undebe” and Aho Ruzingiye have taken control of local radio waves. His stage performances lately send girls wild too.

Kamichi started his music journey in the mid 2000’s, singing in the less known group, "Hotside”. He was group mate to some of today’s popular artists like Rafiki, Clovis, MC Fab and the Dream Boys’ Platini, who were also still struggling.

He is not afraid to tell how challenging his days were and how much he did not expect to make it the way he has.

It is after 2008 that he went solo and managed to get some fame.

His 2009 song a collabo with former RnB star, The Ben, in "Zubeda” and his later featuring in Elliot Victory’s "Maritha” gave him a fast ticket to stardom then.

He has since released many hit singles. In 2010, he shone in the Salax Awards, for Afro-beat.

Besides singing, Kamichi is a radio presenter and a music events organiser.

He is currently working on his debut album, "Umugabira”, which he plans to release in August, 2011.
