KIGALI - First year students joining the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) have up to September 11 to finalise the registration process.

This announcement comes after an earlier deadline of August 31 was not met by some students.

"I am informing all students (private and government sponsored) that the deadline for registration has been extended to 11th September 2011.

Registration procedures remain the same though,” noted Papius Musafiri, the University’s Vice Rector for Academics.

The Vice Rector further underscored that no one would be admitted after the September deadline.

"We had to extend because some of those admitted had not turned up,” he said.

"The main reason was, some of them not knowing that the Academic calendar changed and we had to start in September, instead of the usual January”.

The registration for the new academic year for students already studying at the institution has also been set from September 5 to 11.
