Many years ago, when I was still attending Sunday school, my father would give me money for offertory.I would give it in but sometimes I would act like a bad girl and instead use it for buying lollipops and ice cream.In my little mind I would think to myself, after all dad would never get to find out that I did not give my offering.

However, I forgot the fact that God was always watching. Even when we hide in the darkest of places, God is watching us!
Many children today don’t want to give in the money that they are told to give at church. They always act selfishly and use it to buy sweets and other things instead of giving it back to God. It is a very bad habit that the Lord is unhappy with!
Good children should always return God’s money. God is the one who gives us all the great things we have in life. He gives us parents, protection, life, good health and every good thing we have. Why then should we refuse to give him offertory after all the many blessings he has bestowed upon us?
All good children should return God’s money. If you use it for sweets and other things, then you’re stealing from God.
