Bralirwa shares rise slightly
Shares in beer maker, Bralirwa, rose slightly on the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE). Bralirwa share price closed at Rwf243 or Rwf1 higher than the previous closing.
According to the market report from the Capital Markets Advisory Council (CMAC), yesterday’s turnover was Rwf21,336,800 recorded from 87,600 Bralirwa shares, which were traded in nine deals.
KCB and NMG shares last transacted at Rwf 175 and Rwf 1,200 respectively.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding bids of 40,000 and 17,400 Bralirwa shares at Rwf243 but no offers.
NMG shares are trading cum dividend as the company announced an interim dividend of Ksh1.50 (Rwf10) to be paid on September 30, 2011.The shareholders eligible to receive those dividends are the ones who will be on the shareholders list on August 26, 2011.
