Editor,

I was delighted to read in The New Times yesterday, the article titled: "Eastern Province in beautification drive.”

I was in Rwanda recently and it was a pleasure to spend ten days touring the  country.

All the four Provinces as well as Kigali city have their own uniqueness and offer both business persons and tourists a wide array of products and services.

Kudos to the dynamic leadership of Eastern Province. The District Mayors have revamped their respective towns.

The Eastern Province Investment Cooperation ( EPIC ) have commenced an  ambitious project in Nyagatare. Both locals and international investors would do well to invest in the infrastructure created by EPIC in this District which is part of the northern corridor linking Tanzania and the Northern Province , which is home to the world famous Mountain Gorillas.

The beauty of Rwanda will be enhanced even further with the Eastern Province’s initiative and with the new International Airport coming up in the near future in Bugesera, there will be ample opportunities  for both investors and tourists to "look East " so to say at this great Province.
