Over the weekend, UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman was in Kigali on a two-day working visit during which she signed, along with the Rwandan foreign minister Vincent Biruta, an addendum to expand the scope of the migration deal between the two countries.

The government spokesperson discusses the significance of the highly anticipated – and often criticized – partnership, how the migrants will be integrated and why Rwanda offered to host them.
