Jacque’s Vibes : Ditch the formula bottle

Oh my God…..every generation comes with its own cultures. In today’s world where everyone seems too busy, where mothers are at the verge of forgetting their children, they have resorted to bottle-feeding since they have no time to sit and breastfeed.

While there are those who are genuinely busy, there are young parents who find no value in breastfeeding their little ones. These mothers tend to think of themselves and how they will appear after breastfeeding. This is selfishness of the highest order, I must say.

Must a mother think of themselves before their baby? I think your appearance should not be a barrier to the baby- stopping them from getting that nutritious breast milk all in the name of wanting to keep your breasts in shape.

The babies therefore are being punished by taking cow’s milk, powdered milk and all sorts of baby formula. This is not always healthy; even when a mother is too busy, they should find some time to breastfeed their very own.

Parents today have different thoughts and ideologies about breastfeeding that are not true at all. Even some, who do not work, do not attach so much value to breastfeeding. They prefer the bottle to feed their babies.

I keep thinking that these young couples should be sensitized about parenting and the challenges that come with it. When the baby comes along, a mother must remember that she is not a girl anymore.

No excuse is enough to ditch breastfeeding. Breastfeeding bonds a mother to child and build their communication instincts.

A real mother breastfeeds her child.
