GOSPEL artiste Diane Nkusi launched her debut publication "La folie de la foi” – The foolishness of faith, in an event held at the Top Tower Hotel, early this week.

The subject of the 60-page book is about summons and testimonies. The event attracted 30 people, including Bishop Emmanuel Kolini, who attended the function to hear the story behind the book, listen to the testimonies it is based on and have the books signed.

Guests also had a chance to watch a DVD featuring the live launch of Nkusi’s latest album "Ndaguha icyubahiro” at Kigali Serena Hotel and five songs.

The singer-cum-author said the project began in 2005, when she began to write down all the miracles God had bestowed on her in daily.

"I had long ago thought of writing a book with great messages that would inspire people to have faith in God. Some of which are more story-oriented and I thought great, this is a good start,” she said.

In writing this book, Nkusi drew on memories of her life. The book talks about losing a sense of everything and dedicating one’s life to God, but it goes deeper than that.

During the event, her parents Joseph Nkusi and Theodosie Mukamurenzi confirmed to the audience their daughter’s testimonies in the book.

The book can be found at Gift Supermarket and Tri-Star Home Video at the Union Trade Centre (UTC) or Diane Nkusi’s website www.dianenkusi.com
