Punish those condoning child labour

Editor, As we intensify the campaign against child labour, we should identify and punish people who promote and condon this vice which has kept African children in servitude for many years. I have seen some children who should normally be in schools work in people’s homes. We should not only condemn such people but take harsh measures against them. I wish to appeal to the Ministry of Public Service and Labour to carry out investigations into families illegally employing young children as househelps or any other kind of trade and reprimand them accordingly.

Editor,

As we intensify the campaign against child labour, we should identify and punish people who promote and condon this vice which has kept African children in servitude for many years.
