Editor,

The world should take heed of Rwanda’s successful reconciliation process since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. I wish to thank the government for initiating the uniquely Rwandan traditional Gacaca Courts that have played a key role in the whole unity and reconciliation process.

Other than indulge in blame game, survivors and genocide perpetrators have simply engaged in the daunting task of recovery and building a united Rwanda.

They make their country proud with their sense of forgiveness, hardwork and responsibility.
