Of course yes! Of course yes!

Rwanda hosts an annual international business exhibition called the expo which showcases different brands and services, from the great lakes region and other interested participants.

To me, the expo improves Rwanda’s business world a great deal. Improved customer care, creativity and relentlessness when it comes to business are some of Rwanda’s benefits, from the expo. Rwanda stands a chance of competing with the world’s big names in business.

Believe it or not, the expo enhances competitiveness within Rwanda’s business world.

For years, Rwanda was contaminated with poor customer care services. Customer care was missing in co-operate or average business entities. Can’t forget how I went home without purchasing a skirt only because the shopkeeper was tired from the day’s work, therefore closing at 4:00 pm. concentrating on phone calls during working hours, disgusting language, gloomy faces are some of the terrible things that lots have gone through to purchase something.

Meanwhile, East African countries like Uganda and Kenya are famous for advanced customer care. They carry luggage to customer’s car, give simple tokens like sweets, and use polite words like thank you. Competing with these countries in the expo gives Rwanda no option other than learning their skills, so as to sell.

Where there is quantity and quality, competition is inevitable. More than usual business ventures, Rwandans exhaust their creativity skills to bring about new things, in each year’s expo. The expo has ushered a higher sense of creativity, ranging from food stuffs to cultural items.

Speaking of culture, the expo helps Rwanda improve on the traditional crafts’ innovation. We don’t stop at admiring the Masai Jesus sandals, Rwandans have gone ahead to create their own version.

The expo has proved to be another way to bring Rwanda to create awareness on how business is done else where. Business minded people with no capacity for business trips learn a lot.

Expo grants Rwanda local banks the chance to compete at an international level as foreign traders bank with them. Along the run, bad services get improved, the likes of sms banking, TM cards and other electronic provisions are certainly results of expos and exposure .With a series of expos, Rwanda’s business world will become dynamic.
