RWANDA will open their 2014 World Cup qualification campaign away to Eritrea. The November 11 tie, will be staged in Eritrea’s capital, Asmara.

The teams will then clash in Kigali four days later to determine who joins Algeria, Benin and Mali in Group H.

Commenting on the fixtures, Amavubi head Sellas Tetteh said, "Playing the first leg away is always an advantage because you get to play the determining fixture in front of your home crowd.”

If Rwanda ejects Eritrea, they will head into the group stage whose action kicks off next year in June.

Africa has five slots available for the 2014 World Cup which will be staged in Brazil.
