Rwandan children in German retreat

A recreational week for children of Rwandan organised by the Rwandan Diaspora Association in Germany started this Sunday in the city of Kaub. The event, which brought together more than 20 children, was inaugurated by the Rwandan Ambassador to Germany, Christine Nkulikiyinka.

A recreational week for children of Rwandan organised by the Rwandan Diaspora Association in Germany started this Sunday in the city of Kaub.

The event, which brought together more than 20 children, was inaugurated by the Rwandan Ambassador to Germany, Christine Nkulikiyinka. 

The envoy thanked the parents for giving their children the opportunity to learn about their country and introduction to their culture and language. 

The recreational week is the first in Germany and will last until August 5, 2011.

The programme includes traditional children’s games, dance and music workshops, language lessons and outdoor activities.
