Rwandan music continues to dominate regional airwaves and streaming platforms, with young talents dropping back to back hits that are sweeping fans and music lovers off their feet, while Rwandan producers keep merging sounds and creating new genres every day.

From Kenny Sol’s new Afrobeat jam, to Danny Nanone’s comeback song that features Ariel Wayz and Davis D’s new hit, The New Times highlights new tracks that are keeping Rwandan music lovers on dance floors.

Addicted - Kenny Sol

Kenny Sol is no longer an upcoming artiste but one of the best hit makers of Kigali, and the recently released music video of ‘Addicted’ proves that he might be the next big Afro-pop star of Africa.

The youngster is on tour in Europe and has already dropped a banger to keep his fans back home entertained.

Dropped on March 11, Addicted has already generated over 100, 000 views and was produced and directed by the best Ugandan producers, making it a hit both in Rwanda and Uganda.

Kevin Kade, one of the youngest vocalists of Kigali, is back with another banger dubbed 'Amayoga' which is already playing in all pubs and clubs of the country.

The track, which is part of a series of collaboration projects between Kade and one of the new in-house producers of Country Records, Kozze, has over 100, 000 views on twitter.

It follows Umuana, which was also produced by Kozze in the same record label and studio.

Amayoga’ is also the number one Rwandan song trending on TikTok with different challenges that are pushing it.

Bad Boy – Davis D

Davis D, aka shine Boy, is back with another track produced in the Afro-Zouk genre which is new to his fans.

Dubbed ‘Bad Boy’, the single track premiered on March 16, and is already in all pubs and clubs of Kigali over how it’s produced with a catchy groove.

'Bad Boy' was produced by Element and directed by Bagenzi Bernard.

Midnight – Nep DJs ft. Kivumbi King

The famous Nep DJs of Kigali have started producing their own tracks and ‘Midnight’ is their first solo song released.

Produced by Davy Denko and Kevin Klein, ‘Midnight’ features one of the promising young talents of Kigali, Kivumbi King.

Nasara – Danny Nanone ft. Ariel Wayz

The iconic rapper of Kigali, Danny Nanone, is back in the game after graduating from Nyundo School of music and arts. He has launched a comeback in the music industry with a now hit track dubbed ‘Nasara’ which features Ariel Wayz.

Produced by Bob Pro, Nasara has over 200, 000 views in its first week.
