Let us fight genocide ideology

Editor, I was disappointed to read a story in yesterday’s issue of The Newtimes,  that the Association of Pentecostal Churches in Rwanda (ADEPR) is faced with Genocide ideology and intrigue that is threatening to tear the church apart. The church and religious leaders are supposed to unify people, teach morals and lead by example.  That eight ADEPR pastors from Gitarama region were reportedly ousted unfairly from the church due to ethnic divisions is indeed very bad news.

Editor,

I was disappointed to read a story in yesterday’s issue of The Newtimes,  that the Association of Pentecostal Churches in Rwanda (ADEPR) is faced with Genocide ideology and intrigue that is threatening to tear the church apart.

The church and religious leaders are supposed to unify people, teach morals and lead by example.  That eight ADEPR pastors from Gitarama region were reportedly ousted unfairly from the church due to ethnic divisions is indeed very bad news.

There is no way you can teach the word of God when your church is divided. Charity begins at home.
