We are supposed to obey everyone who is older than us. It doesn’t matter if they are just cleaners, househelps or very poor people. The fact that they are older than us makes it reason enough for us to obey them.
Peter was born in a family that was very wealthy. He had all the toys in the world.
He didn’t respect anyone apart from his parents. He disliked, abused and disobeyed his uncles and aunties just because they were not as rich as his parents.
Fate had its way one ugly day; he lost his parents and the riches he bragged about, slowly vanished. No relative wanted to stay with him or take care of him because of his bad manners. He always disobeyed elders!
We should respect everybody regardless of their status. That way, the Lord will bless us.
Our parents, relatives, teachers and friends will also be proud of us. We shouldn’t end up like Peter.
