RAYON Sport yesterday made their second signing in the ongoing transfer window after snapping up former Kiyovu defender and Burundi captain Hussein Mbanza.

Mbanza was given a signing on fee of Rwf 4m but it is unclear how much he will pocket each month. The Burundian joins his fellow country man Fawd Ndayisenga who joined the blues last month.

The blues Secretary General Olivier Gakwaya told Times Sport that the club is still negotiating with the Burundian pair of Pappy Fatty (midfielder) and Seleman Ndikumana (striker).

"We are still holding talks with Fatty and Seleman and some other players. As soon as we make some head way, we shall make it public,” he said.

"There are several other players we are targeting but we don’t want to reveal their names at the moment,” Gakwaya added.

Last season, the blues endured their worst season in 14 years when they finished in 6th position and are keen to appease their fans that have not seen any silverware in six years.
