SILVERBACKS head coach Gerard Nsenga has called for early preparations to help the team defend their CAR 15s title.

Rwanda romped to last year’s title after thrashing Burundi in the final but Nsenga believes that the team needs to prepare well to repeat last year’s heroics.

"Last year, we saw why it is very important to prepare well ahead of a big tournament,” Nsenga noted.

The tournament is slated to run from September 30 to October 9 in Kigali.

Rwanda will contend with the likes of Tanzania, Seychelles, Burundi and the DRC.
