Mutesi is expected to partner Marchal Pierre Kwizera while Fabien Ndamukunda will pair up with Jean Luc Mbonyuwontuma
Emiliene Uwineza together with Jeanette Niyigena and the pair of Charlotte Nzayisenga and Judith Hakizimana compete in the ladies’ category.
Other countries to take part include Kenya, Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
The winner from this zone will go on to face different zonal winners before determining the continental champion who will earn a slot to the 2012 London Olympic Games.
