APR have extended contracts of Jean Baptiste Mugiraneza a.k.a Migi and Jean Claude Ndoli, the club has announced.

The pair joins Jean Luc Ndayishimiye alias Bakame, right back Albert Ngabo, Malawi international Tchimanga Mutamba, Hegman Ngoma and Landry Logba in agreeing new deals at the club.

The club’s Secretary General Adophe Kalisa hinted that the players would sign their contract extensions once they receive their signing on fees but refused to divulge how much each player would get.

"They have all agreed to sign and as soon as they get their signing on fee, they will put pen to paper.

"I cannot tell you how much each player will get because that is against club rules,” Kalisa said.

Times Sport was not able to speak to Mugiraneza by press time, as he is on holiday in Kampala, but Ndoli denied having agreed terms with the military side and further said that he has received offers from Rayon Sport but is yet to make up his mind.

"I was given a deal by APR but there are some clauses that we did not agree on, so until we reach an agreement, I will not sign.”

"I have also received an offer from Rayon but I’m yet to make a decision,” the goalkeeper said.

Other players who have signed new deals include Jean Luc Ndayishimiye alias Bakame, right back Albert Ngabo, Malawi international Tchimanga Mutamba, Hegman Ngoma and Landry Logba.

Meanwhile, Ugandan midfielder Dan Wagaluka, defender Thierry Kasereka and former Kiyovu striker Dady Birori have all been linked to the side.

Last season, APR sealed a record 12th league title.
