Police FC striker Dider Mugisha was beyond excited and glad debut national team call up the time he found himself on the 30-man squad that coach Carlos Alos Ferrer summoned for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations two-legged qualifiers against Benin.

Mugisha, who has scored seven goals for the law enforcers in the league, is convinced that his hard work has paid off and he cannot wait to show what he can offer for Amavubi when they face the Cheetahs of Benin..

Rwanda will face Benin at the Stade de l'Amitie on March 22 with the return leg set to take place at Huye Stadium five days later.

Amavubi are third in Group L with 1 point earned from their past two qualifying games including a 1--1 draw with Mozambique in Johannesburg and a 1-0 defeat to African Champions Senegal in Dakar.
