RPF elects district committees

The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF), yesterday, elected its representatives in all districts. In Kigali City, Paul Jules Ndamage, the Mayor of Kicukiro District, retained his seat as the party district chairperson, while Zulfati Mukarubega was elected his deputy. Liberatha Murebwayire became the party secretary.

The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF), yesterday, elected its representatives in all districts.

In Kigali City, Paul Jules Ndamage, the Mayor of Kicukiro District, retained his seat as the party district chairperson, while Zulfati Mukarubega was elected his deputy. Liberatha Murebwayire became the party secretary.

Willy Ndizeye, the Mayor of Gasabo District, was also re-elected party chairman, while Kigali City Mayor, Fidele Ndayisaba, and Judith Mutamba, were elected as vice chairperson and secretary, respectively.

In Nyarugenge District, the Mayor, Solange Mukasonga, became the chairperson, while Dr Venuste Karambizi was elected vice chairperson. Consolata Mukabera was elected the district party secretary, while Faustin Mbundu became the Commissioner in charge of finance.

Ndamage promised to partner with all Rwandans in the struggle for the country’s development.

"The armed struggle to liberate the country is no more, but we are now in the struggle to lift Rwandans out of poverty and to develop the country in general,” Ndamage noted.
