I was delighted to read in the Women’s Weekly Magazine of The New Times the profile of Nadia Uwamahoro, Managing Director, Data Systems Limited and that of Astrida Uwera, Publisher, Agasaro Women’s Magazine.
It is really very interesting to see how Rwandan women continue to shine brightly. They are a wonderful example of women empowerment .
What is very impressive with Nadia’s Data Systems is that they "build software from scratch.” This clearly shows that there is no lack of talent and ingenuity in the minds of young and enterprising Rwandans.
The work Data Systems has already done is commendable.
Astrida’s Agasaro Women’s Magazine highlights the achievements of Rwandan women and that , in itself is a great fillip to women who are indeed second to none in this beautiful land of a thousand hills and a million smiles .
Should these enterprising, young women want to look east, beyond the shores of Africa for any business opportunity, Rwanda Renaissance and the Indian Merchants’ Chamber would be happy to assist them however possible.
