Rwandan R&B star Elion Victory, who has been quiet since the launch of his debut album ‘Mbwira’, has uncovered the reason for his silence and what has been up his sleeve.

Elion has been putting final touches to his two latest albums ‘Iyo mbimenya’ and ‘Uko wapi’ due to be officially launched soon.

Speaking to The New Times, Jean Batista Rwibasira, the singer’s manager, confirmed to that Elion is currently planning a great launch to unleash his two studio work and also mentioned that they are considering several venues for the upcoming historic launch.

"Elion is currently busy and we really want to bring something that his fans have never seen before to match with the kind of musical work on his new albums,” Rwibasira noted.

The singer’s much anticipated albums have generated a lot of expectations within the media and among the general public.

A few radio presenters, producers and everyone, who has been privileged to listen to some of the songs from his latest albums, find it hard to describe what to expect.

Claude Habimana is a big fan of Elion said that he really liked every single song on Elion’s first album, but from the few songs he heard from his upcoming albums, he does not even know what to expect next. "This is phenomenal for a young singer like Elion – I am very impressed”.

His second album comprises six singles, including ‘Uko ateye’, ‘Mbwiza ukuri ’,‘ Mpa ijambo ’and‘ Dawa iangu’.  His third album is composed of 10 tracks all in Swahili.

Famous for his famous hits ‘Amafaranga’ and ‘Marita’, the singer has won himself massive recognition in the country and beyond.

Meanwhile, Elion is expected to travel to Kenya, today, to sign a contract with Orange, Kenya’s integrated telecommunications solutions provider.
