Unexpected rain cut short APR’s dreams of lifting the 9th Paul Bitok tournament in Eldoret on Sunday.

With the final tied at 1-all between APR and Kenya’s Ulinzi Stars, officials were forced to call off the match.

The two sides had to share Ksh130, 000 (Rwf 910, 000) which is a combined package for the winner and first runners-up.

APR will now keep the trophy for the first six months while Ulinzi stars will keep it till next year’s edition. Lycee de Nyanza and NUR were the other Rwandan sides in the contest which attracted 25 clubs.
