The Rwandan Parliament membership as the 19th member of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) , Africa Group and the Government of Rwanda is a milestone as the country continues its trajectory to heal past wounds.

I wish to congratulate Rose Mukantabana, the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies in Rwanda, for her election as Vice-President of CPA, Africa Region.

The rapid growth and development of this beautiful country clearly shows how the new Rwanda has managed to overcome her challenges, against all odds, under the able guidance and leadership of President Paul Kagame.

I wish the Rwandan Parliament every success as a member of the CPA, Africa Group.
