‘Tusker All Stars’ set for grand reunion

EAST African Breweries flagship brand Tusker is set to kick-off the celebration of the launch of its new look bottle with a music extravaganza that will include a reality TV music show and a mega concert dubbed "Tusker All Stars.’

The ‘Tusker All Stars’ TV show will reunite viewers with eight former Tusker Project Fame contestants competing for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share a stage with music great Usher Raymond and Keri Hilson at the "Tusker All Stars Concert” slated for the Carnivore Grounds on August 20.

Commenting on the musical show, EABL Group Marketing Director Debra Mallowah said: "The Tusker All Stars will represent a return to their African roots for the two international artists.”

She added: "It also marks a breaking of the glass ceiling for East Africa’s entertainment scene as our very own share a stage with some of the biggest names in global entertainment.”

All Stars include: Alpha Rwirangira (Rwanda), Bernard Nganga popularly known as ‘Ngangalito’ and Patricia Kihoro (Kenya), Hemedy Suleiman and Peter Msechu (Tanzania) and Davis Ntare (Uganda).

Tusker Project Fame Season 4’s Amileena Mwenesi and Tusker Project Fame season 3’s Caroline Nabulime, both known for their vocal range and dancing prowess, are the two other stars joining the Tusker All Stars.

The show is set to debut on June 26, while the grand finale will be staged on August 14. Running for eight weeks, the Tusker All Stars TV show will showcase the stars at their very best, performing as individuals and as groups.

Their challenge is to entertain East Africa with riveting music acts each week while showcasing their star quality and versatility.

The show will air every Sunday on Citizen TV (Kenya), UBC TV (Uganda) and TBC TV (Tanzania) from 7.30 pm from June 26 to August 14.
