Tom Close is gradually realising that in this time and age, releasing albums every one to two years is too much of a big risk.The R&B crooner Tom Close has confirmed the launch of his third album dubbed ‘Ntibanyurwa.’

The singer, told The New Times that the 12-track album launch for the V.I.P will be held at Kigali Serena Hotel on July 3. On Liberation Day, the launch will be held at Amahoro Stadium - Expo Ground for the public.

"The concert is a tribute to the heroes and heroines, including all people who participated in the struggle to liberate Rwanda, Tom Close stressed.

The launch is expected to attract big names from the regional music scene, such as: Kenya-based Burundian artiste Kidum, Uganda’s songbird Juliana and Big Fizzo from Burundi.

Tom Close’s manager Jake Kagabo said the singer is currently shooting the video of ‘Ndamuhamagara’, which is expected to be ready by this week.

Meanwhile, the R&B lover-man is not showing any signs of slowing down. He has released a new song ‘Ndamuhamagara’ featuring Uncle Austin - as he gears up for the Primus Guma Guma Superstar competition.

Tom Close, real name Thomas Muyombo, born October 28, 1986, in Masindi District, Uganda, is an R&B artist best known for songs like: ‘Mbwira’, ‘kuki’, ‘sibeza’, ‘mbwira yego’ and ‘Maama Wabana Bange.’
