Devoted to convey the message of Christ to people through his music, Gospel sensation Alexis Dusabe has over the years helped gospel music lovers to connect with God using his talent. After taking time off to work on his third album and take care of his family, he is back with new music and concert plans.

The singer is gearing up to release his third album. He will soon drop three new songs before the album’s release and plans to be more active as he plays his role of spreading the word of God. He also plans to have concerts in prisons.

The singer revealed that he has been away from the music scene for some time to work on his third album which he plans to release this year. He however assured fans that he is now back and ready to give them the best of local gospel music frequently. He will also be performing at the annual concert with other gospel artistes which will take place at the Car Free Zone. The event has been taking place for the past two years at the venue. Other headliners so far include Apollinaire and David from Burundi.

"We are working together as gospel artistes to host an annual concert dubbed ‘East African Gospel Festival’ with other gospel artistes from East Africa at the Car Free Zone. The aim for the concert is to sensitize the masses on issues that are highly affecting people like drugs, depression, divorce and rape among others,” he said.

He further noted that as gospel artistes, they tend to work together in tackling these issues because the gospel plays a big role in helping people to change their bad ways. The concert will begin on May 21, at Camp Kigali, while the second concert will take place in July at its usual venue, Car Free Zone. The concerts will also be taken outside of Kigali in order to reach as many people as possible.

Some of Alexis famous songs include ‘Zaburi 23’, ‘Kuki Turira’, ‘Umuyoboro’, ‘Urukundo Rwumukiza’ and ‘Uragahora ku Ngoma’ among others. He dropped his first album in 2004 and second in June, 2013.
