Smartness as a discipline

Do we ever wonder if such a thing as smartness should actually take more space of thought in our minds? As negligible as we make it seem, it speaks VOLUMES about us, communicates VOLUMES for us and identifies VOLUMES in us!? I hope so.

Do we ever wonder if such a thing as smartness should actually take more space of thought in our minds? As negligible as we make it seem, it speaks VOLUMES about us, communicates VOLUMES for us and identifies VOLUMES in us!? I hope so.

I’ve noted this negligence towards smartness amongst us the youth and some elders too and on sadly I’m led to believe I should criticize this kind of mindset and clarify its importance.

I feel the need to reveal the facts behind smartness which should move from being an ordinary requirement to fitting in society to an actual virtue—a practical identification of who we are inside.

For now, my view is that it is only a few among us youth who know and take advantage of what lies in what we merely refer to as smartness as compared to those of us who simply leave it to one of either others, elders, or the working class.

If we knew, we’d have a bigger impact than we do on our society, we wouldn’t have to worry much about being misjudged which I know we all hate (what we usually call judging a book by its cover), avoiding those eyes that can’t seem to look anywhere else but at you, or about bearing complaints from everyone in the family because of the hair you didn’t comb for a boy or neatly style for a girl.

This doesn’t belong to them after all, the trousers you got lazy to pull up decently into the right place, the nails that get people wondering if you have any caring friends, the clothes that make you look like you had Mrs.Cow for a visitor the day before or the shoes that make people think you’re too spoilt to care.

Well, let’s face it, this is the world we live in.

We depend on each other to make each other’s world comfortable and as much as it feels like it’s none of their business, they can’t help but mind. It’s our world!

Smartness is a part of our general presentation, most importantly it displays your smartness upstairs, it’s a part of first impressions, it can determine whether you get that job or it earns you or takes from you respect from your colleagues.

It will make people listen to whatever you have to say, it even has the power to stop that young lady or gentleman from having his/her eye on you!

Believe it or not, smartness is more of an important quality that dictates more about us than we may think; therefore we should take it a lot more seriously.

By the way, if you didn’t know, and you can do the research if you want, the new HOT! For both girls and guys… yes, is smart and independent looking! So go for it.
