Twizerimana admits that it will be a dream come true if his exploits are noticed by Ferrer and hand him a chance to translate his current form in the national team ahead of the Benin test.

"With my current form, I am looking forward to finally landing an Amavubi call up. I know what I can do and what I can add to the team when I am introduced against Benin," the 27-year-old told Times Sport in an interview.

"Everyone's dream is to play for his national team and that has been my biggest dream. It is something I have worked tirelessly for and I am praying that it happens. It is always in my thoughts," he added.

The flamboyant centre-forward further revealed has quickly integrated into the Gorilla setup and things have been working for him since he left Police in January after club kicked him out of the club due to misconduct.

"I have easily settled into the Gorilla team because the coach is very good and helped me settle for life in the club. The team also has quality young players with some of them in the national U23 so it makes things easier for me," he said.

"My great form has been due to hard work. I train well and I make sure I implement what I do during training sessions.”

The Gorilla star said that he does not plan to stop scoring so he achieves his main ambitions which are to challenge for the golden boot as well as enjoy a brilliant season with Gorilla and help them finish in a good position when Rwanda Premier League season concludes in May.

"I have nine goals and I want to score more and finish among the top three scorers. I also want to help my team finish in a good position." He added.

Twizerimana has established himself among the best players of the second round of the league where he netted five goals. His contribution has brought positive impact to his side which now sit ninth on the league table with 31 points from 22 games.
