THE National Paralympic Committee in partnership with the Ministry of Education is set to introduce sports for disabilities in post primary competitions.

According to the Secretary General of NPC Rwanda Celestin Nzeyimana, over 100 schools will take part in the annual competition scheduled for July.

"We have been training coaches in schools that will take part. We covered most parts of the country and by next year, our target is to have every school competing,” Nzeyimana said.

The schools will start with sitball, one of the most popular sports for the disabled.

Last year, Rwanda rewrote history by winning the Sitball World Cup in both categories (men and women).
