Diaspora Convention to focus on investment

Rwandans living in the United Kingdom and others European countries will, for three days, convene in London to share business ideas and ways of addressing challenges affecting them.The event will run from July 22-24.The event, organised by the Rwandan Community Association in the UK, also aims at mobilising fellow countrymen and women living in Europe to take part in the socio-economic developments of their nation.

Rwandans living in the United Kingdom and others European countries will, for three days, convene in London to share business ideas and ways of addressing challenges affecting them.The event will run from July 22-24.

The event, organised by the Rwandan Community Association in the UK, also aims at mobilising fellow countrymen and women living in Europe to take part in the socio-economic developments of their nation.

According to Alex Ntale, the General Secretary of the Association (UK), everyone is welcome to the event.

The occasion is expected to create links between Rwanda and foreign based Rwandan communities in Europe.

The participants will then determine investment opportunities in priority sectors in the country, especially in energy, tourism, ICT, agriculture and infrastructure.
