Kitoko thrills guests at Iwawa

Renowned local artiste, Patrick Bibarwa Kitoko on May 18, thrilled dignitaries, students and relatives during the first graduation ceremony at Iwawa Rehabilitation and Vocational Skills Development Centre.
 
The school is located on an Island in Lake Kivu, Remera, Boneza Sector, Rutsiro District. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking Rwandan government officials among them Right Honourable Prime Minister Bernard Makuza and the Minister of Defence, Gen James Kabarebe, among others.

An estimated 752 youth graduated with 253 completing the Construction course. Another 157 graduated in Bee Keeping, 156 in Commercial Farming; while 108 and 101 completed their studies in Carpentry and Tailoring respectively.
 
Kitoko put up an energetic show entertaining the over 1, 600 students, who sang along most of his tracks.

Kitoko belted out his famous hits, such as ‘I love you’, ‘Kowanyanze’, ‘Agacecuru’ before winding up with ‘Bella’ which he performed with one of the Dream Boys stars.

Not to be left out, dignitaries joined the floor to confirm why ‘Bella’ is the song currently sweeping the airwaves.
