The National U-17 football team yesterday continued their preparation for the FIFA World Cup after holding English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspurs’ U-18 team to a goalless draw at London’s club training ground in Essex.

Rwanda which was paired with world football power houses England, Uruguay and Canada in Group C did not looked fazed playing one of the best junior sides in England.

Striker Justin Mico returned from injury for the tie and his combination with Andrew Buteera caused the hosts lots of problems.

The team is expected to fly to Frankfurt German this afternoon, where they will play two more friendlies against Koln U-18 and Dusseldorf U-18.
