Is the world already full?

There was this family planning advert that had a guy trying to lift his overloaded family on a wooden log over his head but it looked like he was going to be broken to pieces.

Now they didn’t mean it literally but it was a metaphor telling us to have families that won’t wear us out!

In all honesty sometimes I think God is that man! Yes, I know He is very powerful and can lift the globe with his index finger but what I’m saying is, I think He looks at the world and breaks from within because there is just too many of us.

Every country has its number and as for China, well...that should have been the world on its own! If there is one script those Chinese chaps took dead serious it was, ‘Be fruitful and multiply’. With a population of about 3 billion, China seriously doesn’t need any more people!

I feel bad for the young ones that haven’t yet experienced the joys of motherhood because they too have to see what all the fuss is about but if those people keep on procreating, that country will sink into the ground and look like it fell into quick sand!

If only in the beginning God had given us a limit to the way we multiply, I can guarantee you the world would be a much better place right now. There would be less traffic, more food and water and even fewer bills to pay!

I think the world is squashed and is in dire need for some people to be shifted to another planet like in some kind of Big Brother arrangement; otherwise at this rate we are literally going to walk all over each other, China style.

Right now it’s the next generation that will see the consequence of all this action, yes that’s exactly what it is. If there could be less action on earth or at least if people could take family planning as seriously as they took God when he asked us to fill the earth and conquer it, we wouldn’t be having this problem.

I have to say kudos to the women who have tried to keep the world balanced by giving their wombs a break from time to time.

Don’t get me wrong, having kids is a blessing but if the world is over populated, where will the blessings that follow us go?

We believed that Christ would come back in the year 2000 and I guess that is why some people decided to hatch all their eggs at the same time lest He comes around and finds them without a single soul to their name.

The human race is great, really it is, but this world just isn’t big enough for all of us and that’s why we have people living in the Amazon and deserts when clearly they have no business staying there!

We won’t be able to procreate in the Afterlife so whether it’s Heaven or hell one thing I guess for sure is it might not be half as crowded as the Earth!
