REIGNING Peace Cup champions APR will continue their title defense this afternoon when they face United Stars at Mumena Stadium.

With Tchimanga Mutamba and Ernest Kwizera suspended and Hegman Ngoma (back strain), Didier Kapet and Victor Nyirenda (thigh) injured, coach Ernie Brandts is expected to make five changes from the team that beat Muhanga in the Primus league over the weekend.

At Kigali Regional Stadium, Rayon Sport host Pepiniere before what is expected to be a thrilling contest between SC Kiyovu and La Jeunesse.

Etincelles and AS Kigali will lock horns in Musanze while Marine clash with Interforce later in the day.

In other fixtures, Mukura host SEC academy, Amagaju host Police while AS Muhanga plays Aspor at Ferwafa.

The quarter-finals are slated for May 21 while the semi-finals are due on June 11. The third-place playoff and final are scheduled for June 18.

Last year, APR lifted the trophy after beating Rayon 1-0 in the final.

For their triumph, they pocketed Rwf 10m while the blues had to settle for Rwf 7m.The Peace Cup winners represent Rwanda in the Orange Confederation Cup.
