Rwanda, Kenya to sign defence pact

Rwanda and Kenya will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in defence matters today.Lt. Col. Jill Rutaremara, the Defence and Military Spokesman, yesterday told The New Times that Kenya's Minister of Defence, Mohamed Yusuf Haji, will sign on behalf of his country.

Rwanda and Kenya will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in defence matters today.
 
Lt. Col. Jill Rutaremara, the Defence and Military Spokesman, yesterday told The New Times that Kenya's Minister of Defence, Mohamed Yusuf Haji, will sign on behalf of his country.
 
The Kenyan minister arrived in the country yesterday for a three-day visit. He will hold discussions with his counterpart, Gen. James Kabarebe.
 
The visitor who is also scheduled to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, is here on invitation by Gen. Kabarebe.
