Rwandan students will participate in the International Youth Forum (IYF), this Saturday, in the Indian city of Mumbai.

The educative forum will attract over 60 International students from twelve countries.

18 Rwandan students are expected to attend the event slated to take place at the Pillai’s Institute of Management Studies and Research.

"The Rwandan students are taking an active part, not only in the business sessions, but they are also going to showcase their culture by performing a series of traditional Rwandan dances,” stated Clarence Fernandes of Rwanda Renaissance, an organisation that markets Rwanda in India.

Diallo Rodrigue Nyiringabo, the leader of the Rwandan delegation, expressed his delight to lead such a large group of students to the forum.

"The experience will help us in our respective careers,” said the student leader.

Dr. Vasudevan Pillai, Secretary and CEO of the Pillai’s Institute explained: "We empower the students to the community and the environment in which they live. We also attempt to focus on character building through the mentoring approach”.
