"Freedom of the Press has improved a great deal in Rwanda. The quality of programmes is advancing and level of competence among practitioners is improving.

However, the Access to Information Law remains crucial and should urgently be passed. Nonetheless, the media is getting more exciting with the advent of new media, which Rwanda has fully embraced.
