Editor,

THE first ever trial related to a Rwandan Genocide case, to be heard in the United States, began on Tuesday in the US city of Wichita, Kansas. Lazare Kobagaya, is facing charges related to crimes he committed during the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Kobagaya, 83, had successfully managed to cover up his crimes and had unlawfully obtained US citizenship in 2006 by claiming he lived in Burundi from 1993 to 1995.

However, he is not the only one.
There are several other suspects who have changed their identity to evade justice. However, Kobagaya trial is proof that you can run but cannot hide.

I believe that the days of the other suspects, are numbered too.
