NINE teams have started training for the annual Sharks 7s scheduled for May 7.

The clubs include Grizzlies, Muhanga, Simba, Tumba College, Buffaloes, Gorillas, Lion de fer and Sharks, which will field two teams.

Sharks president and former national women rugby team coach Janvier Ugeziwe yesterday said that they want to end their barren run.

"We have organised three tournaments and not even won one so it would be nice to end that bad run this year,” the former prop forward said.

The one-day tournament will be played in two categories; Main and Plate Cup.

Soras and BMC under their SKOL brand are the tournament sponsors.
