HE may be only 16 years but Fabrice Ndayisaba has football dreams thrice his age.

The Ape Rugunga student recently started a football academy named after his idol, Inter Milan and Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o Fils.

In 2006, Ndayisaba had a chance to meet up with four-time African player of the year and has never looked back since.

Speaking to Times Sport recently, the youngster who plays for APR’s youth academy said that he had already attracted 54 players.

"My dream has always been to start an academy and name it after my idol Samuel Eto’o and I’m happy to say that it is finally coming to realization,” he said.
The players are between the ages of 9-15 and have their training sessions at Kicuriko artificial turf.

Although his intentions are noble, Ndayisaba concedes that there are challenges to his dreams.

"The biggest problem is getting logistics like balls, nets, boots and coaches. We have some but we need more.

We are exploring ways of getting sponsorship and I have sent e-mails to Samuel Eto’o for support,” he said.
