Editor,I have heard several complaints from employees about their personal emails or conversations being hacked by their employers. Most of the employees, complaining about this practice are employed by private institutions.

Many employees don’t know what to do and need to be educated on this issue by lawyers. Does intercepting private communication or accessing one’s mail constitute an invasion of one’s privacy?

Lawmakers should help to interpret and to suggest the next course of action.. In my opinion, accessing someone’s email address or private conversation without consent is an offence.

I believe this practice is not only unfair but it is also used by employers who are not confident of what they are doing.

Or else, why would a boss want to eavesdrop on his or her employees private discussions?  I believe good managers set up rules and whoever fails to comply is punished.
